BRANCASTER PARISH COUNCIL MINUTES A Meeting of the Parish Council was held in the village hall, Brancaster Staithe on Tuesday, 6th. March, 2007, at 7p.m.
PRESENT Mr.C.Southerland,[Chair]; Mrs.J.Howell; Messrs. J.Petchey A.Townshend, , J.Snelling, T.Large M.Fullwood, A.Borthwick Also present: 10 electors and Messrs. D.Wood and K.Miller of the National Trust
APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE Messrs.D.Sands, N.Linge and WNBCllr. Dobson
National Trust Messrs. Wood and Miller were invited to address the meeting to explain the regime for beach patrol, litter sheep etc. in the parish. They were thanked for their attendance at the meeting.

4. . MATTERS ARISING Boats on village green These had now gone. BFC meeting 8th.March. Letter from Mr.D.Rich re parking on the vg. Prop. JH sec JP that PC make a recommendation to the BNFC that ground be made available for smaller dinghies for local people at the discretion of the Harbour Master. Agreed. Playing field entrance Letter from SJP solicitors. .AT had measured the area. Prop. JH sec JS that SJP now be instructed to proceed with new registration with the Land Registry immediately. Agreed. Brancaster village sign Designs now received from Brancaster School. and passed to JP and TL. Deepdale Forge were interested. Prices needed. Agreed to contact Rural Projects Fund. . Grant Applications Reply from WNVCS detailing grants awarded to the three applications.Vote of thanks to JH Fish Stall Agreement Agreement signed by S.Letzer. Signed copies to be kept by Parish Council. JP stated that the area must be kept clear.SL to be allowed to put down concrete slabs in front of his stall but to keep it level,. Prop. JP, sec. AB and agreed. Post on Gallows Site meeting held [CS, JS and Mr.Bottom attended]. Wooded post to be sited near the Gallows Mrs.Lyster parking at BD Dealt with by AB Bus stops In hand by Clerk Brancaster Green Common Lane Awaiting reply from JT BD green lane In hand by NCC [JP] Car park passes- Mr.Langley Passed to JH. Bottle bank site, Brancaster Possible move to north side of 71 Club away from hedge Dale end lighting Request [Mrs.M.Billing] to change to white lights. Clerk to obtain price from MHB. Dog waste bin for The Drove Cost to be requested. Parish Walks Boards Only two required Brancaster and BD. Not at BStaithe. Coastal Path N.T.stated that they had done everything that was possible at the moment. Site meeting deemed necessary. 5. REPORT BY PC REPS Barrow Common - Report by MF and JP.
